Musings
My writing space. A blog, if you will, on what I learn from the school of life.
The greatest perk of living in our era? Slapping on our own labels and titles, instantly snagging societal approval and a carte blanche to proceed.
Consider the self-made writer on Medium, who penned daily for 30 days, raked in sizable bucks, got noted and snagged a book deal. Or did she publish a PDF and dub it a book? Regardless, she didn’t wait for society to dub her a writer; she declared it, and thus, became it. Apologies, her name eludes me. You likely haven’t heard of her either. Or that marketing guru with his top-selling course about how to crack marketing for good? The one with that very pretty website, likely WordPress (screaming professionalism, obviously), might ring a bell. No, it’s not someone that you know, but the point is that he chose to be the best marketer and became it. Can anyone dispute that? Perhaps we should all just decide, and then, by the grace of self-proclamation, we shall be? It seems that it takes about a month or two of daily work, and then you’re golden. Catch you in a few months. Now, the real work commences. And during breaks, I’ll figure out what I’m becoming. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Comments are closed.
