My writing space. A blog, if you will, on what I learn from the school of life.
Learning energizes me. It's no surprise that it turned out to be my top personality trait.
But the hardest lesson for me to grasp is unlearning my own limits—a lesson universally needed. Unlearning involves asking many 'what if' questions and doing what frightens me most. Yet, not trying is far scarier than the possibility of failure. What about you? What are your secrets to unlearning? Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. As a kid, I hated learning texts by heart. For a simple reason - it was anything but coming out of my heart when I had to recite it.
A wise teacher once said that we should learn by heart what we love. And I have been battling with the concept for a very long time thanks to my childhood experience. Until I truly understood his words - by heart. Isn't everything that we love learned indeed by the heart? Isn't the heart the place where what we love thrives? And when someone asks us about it, doesn't our heart tell the story? What we love becomes us, because it is our heart. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Companies, publications, and thought leaders love guides that simplify complex topics. A way to navigate the issue, they say. A summary of viewpoints based on thorough research or experience.
But often the guides provide a skewed view. The reader needs to learn more to form an opinion. They need their own research and guide that fits their reality. If a guide fails to lead the reader, it serves no purpose. But if complex issues can be distilled into a concise guide then they have the potential to shift industries and institutions. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. |
