Musings
My writing space. A blog, if you will, on what I learn from the school of life.
The power to ask good questions comes from honest interest. You would not ask a question of any significance to a person you want to have nothing in common with. You also wouldn't search for the right answers on a topic you don't want to bother with.
Most of the time you would have made up your mind in advance. So you can either flip the script by evaluating your interest in the topic or person or just leave the questions to those who care. And learn from them, when you decide you care to know more. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. On the days when you question the work you do, ask yourself if there are people who would notice if you stopped.
If the answer is no, then you should reconsider the value of your work. But if you know even a couple of people who would care and miss your work, then they should be your motivation to keep going. Keep making their lives better with your work. It matters. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. What if today instead of seeing problems you saw only opportunities?
What if today you didn't hear any judgement in the voice of your boss, but care and love? What if today you didn't jump to conclusions but took a breath and asked more questions? What if you decide that today is going to be a great day? Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Ask questions that help you clarify situations. Direct them to yourself. When you feel like making a big or small change, dig deeper into your reasons. Ask it at least three times. Get to the core of it.
Once there, visualise how exactly it will happen. Ask why and where and when. Ask with whom. And remember - why now? Don't let yourself off the hook. After all, you are the one wishing for this change, are you not? Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Her mind raced with questions, answers chasing after them. Rushing to clarify an unfamiliar situation.
The issue was the speed of those answers — random and not well thought out, but shared nonetheless. She took a breath and sipped her secret potion. More questions mixed with the added space to think each answer through. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. |
