Musings
My writing space. A blog, if you will, on what I learn from the school of life.
What do you see in the mirror - possibilities or limitations?
Whatever you see, you are right. But remember the best is yet to come, if that's what you want. Now, look again. What do you see? Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. P.S. Inspired by Joshua Hunt and his NYT article - Want a Vacation Souvenir? Buy Toothpaste. Is it true that when you know right you do right? I've known right on occasions but still did wrong for one reason or another.
Maybe the saying should change to: 'You act on your desires, believing they're right at that moment.' Understand that regret might follow any decision, regardless of how you justify it at the time. And that's okay. Make decisions. You can always make another too. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. When someone else covers the expenses, it seems we always choose the easy option. Consider the choice between a taxi and public transport.
But what will happen when our planet can no longer bear these expenses? Or rather, how much longer can we ignore the fact that our current lifestyle isn't sustainable? The easy route is convenient, especially when someone else foots the bill. But consider the hidden costs, the times you pay a much steeper price. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Dreaming through words lets others share the dream. They thus spread it so that they, too, can believe and help build momentum.
The more we articulate our dreams, the more we root them in reality. The more they spread, the higher the chance to have change happen. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. What if we, as professionals, could achieve perfection? Writing the perfect copy, capturing the perfect image, editing the perfect clip—all these are now possible with the help of AI. The same AI also edited these lines in case I made mistakes in a language that isn't my first.
Although technology may make perfection attainable, remember that practice makes perfect—but not new. Original ideas emerge from mess and chaos, from breaking down and rebuilding, from viewing the old in a new way. Strive for excellence, but don't make it your ultimate goal. Perfection can drain the soul; leave it for the soulless. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. P.S. Inspired by Adam Grant and his book Originals. ‘…someone else would have already done it,’ the friendly advice often goes. But sometimes, that 'someone' is you.
Give it a try, even if it scares you. It's worth it. Be the 'someone' that others are waiting for. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. As we carve the road ahead, we often leap over dark patches of uncertainty. We can view the darkness beneath our feet as a black hole that sucks in all light.
Or we can see it as a blank canvas, inviting our creativity to shine. Become the creator of the most important world in the universe—your own. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. The first steps in anything are beautiful. They may be a little clumsy, but they're full of potential. A bit shy, yet eager to leap. They come with creeping doubt, but that often remains unrealized.
Starting something new is thrilling. Supporting someone else as they start something new is equally exciting, especially when you help ensure that doubt never fully materializes. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Don't take too much pride in living someone else's dream.
First, if you occupy the position someone else dreamt of, they might feel both proud of you and disappointed in themselves. It's a tricky situation. Second, by saying yes to someone else's dream, did you say no to your own? Make choices that align with your true Self. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. In the darkest hour, seek the moonlight. Trust the moon's gentle glow and the promise it holds.
The same principle applies to life. You don't need a blazing beam—just a little flicker—and trust in the promise it offers. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. |
