My writing space. A blog, if you will, on what I learn from the school of life.
We evolve over time. Those who have a growth mindset actively seek change more often. We examine our “I am” statements and identify what we need to release to grow into a new version of ourselves.
We may want the change and work on it, but the best way to notice it is when we meet an old friend. Someone that is supposed to know us, but they speak to our old self. When they address that trait we've long removed, we notice our growth the most, because that script no longer holds power over us. Then we realise that the focus on befriending ourselves could drive us away from our friends. And the opportunity to grow together with them. Our relationship with ourselves is a treasure. But together is always better. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. We all have flaws that we want to improve. But can we actually imagine ourselves purified from those?
Imagine all these perfect beings walking the earth. Luckily, we don't live in that boring world. Instead of trying to erase our imperfections, we can focus on adding more good to our personalities. Starting off with small positive habits, like meditating and drinking more water. Then we can move on to bigger goals: pursuing a creative career while working in finance. Or following a musical passion while working in education. The new additions to the self will occupy more of our time and hopefully will overwhelm us with positivity. It is one way to suffocate those flaws. And we will end up living in a much more beautiful reality. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. |
