Musings
My writing space. A blog, if you will, on what I learn from the school of life.
Navigating away from self-destructive behaviours and maintaining focus is a challenge. Our human DNA inherently houses not just the impulse to create but also to demolish, and often, that destructive journey commences with us before it transfers to others.
Exercise patience with yourself and resolve to endure just a few more days to witness the unfolding. If, afterward, you still want out with conviction—great, move on. Alternatively, unearth the magic in your why. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. The urge to be unapologetically yourself is strong in many of us. We yearn to create, to do, to give something of value to the world.
But the world has plenty of the things we want to give it. Writing a book is a challenge for some of us, but once written it is stacked on a shelf with the millions written before it. The same happens with that masterpiece of a painting, a song, and anything in between. Then there's the daily job, which often pays more than the pursuit of our dreams. But can you call it a life worth living, if you always colour between the lines? Can you sleep well at night knowing that there is no hand questing to open the pages of your book? That there are no eyes longing for your painting? That there are no ears thirsty for your sound? Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. |
