Musings
My writing space. A blog, if you will, on what I learn from the school of life.
Do you ever change your mind and feel better? If so, you’re not alone. Research shows that changing your mind can benefit your health, happiness, and success.
Changing your mind improves your accuracy. It shows you are open to new information and willing to learn and grow. It helps you avoid confirmation bias, which is the tendency to only see what you want to see. It challenges your assumptions and discovers new truths. Boosting your creativity may come from changing your mind too. It helps you adapt to changing circumstances and cope with stress. It enhances your problem-solving skills. It embraces challenges and opportunities. Changing your mind can even enhance your relationships. It shows you are flexible, empathetic, and respectful of other perspectives. It avoids conflicts and misunderstandings. It builds trust with others and yourself. After all, you can even change your mind about who you love. Changing your mind is not always easy or comfortable. By changing your mind more often, you can improve yourself, your life, and your universe. So next time you encounter new information or opinions that challenge your beliefs, don’t be afraid to change your mind. You might be surprised by what you discover. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. But as that budding love bloomed, it brought with it the question, “Can you imagine what you’ll hate about him?” With each passing moment of the kiss, she clung to the unrealistic answer — “Nothing and never!” Because when you see a sprout, you water it with hope and trust for a bright and perfect future. They tried to prolong the magic of the moment a little longer. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. |
