A journey of upskilling and perspective

A few months ago, I came across the top-performing post on Medium titled "On Education and Upskilling." Once I read the title it dawned on me that I can channel the energy I spend at various online courses and programs, and organise my takeaways in different articles. These articles needed a home separate from Medium, where I typically post my daily short pieces. So, I made the decision to create a website: atamagdalina.com.

Websites have always been a challenge for me. The thought of working on my own site, without IT support, made me uneasy, despite my decade of experience in marketing communications. I had to remind myself not to take myself too seriously and embrace the fact that I love learning. The narrative quickly shifted to viewing it as a wonderful opportunity.

Now, my website is only three months old, and the articles on the courses I've taken are progressing well. I have a special scoop you can check out. The best part is that they encourage me to think differently not only about writing but also about the true value of each course. They offer an alternative perspective that I hope I am passing along to the readers as well.

Perhaps the greatest gift of writing daily is gaining a perspective that may not come from any other source. And now, one of these perspectives has provided the inspiration to take the next step forward with my own website. I cannot wait to uncover what else is hiding in there.
