We all choose the level of difficulty we're willing to play at. Some people opt to keep leveling up to play on hard mode.
In reality, however, they often don't realise how advanced they've become. The level remains challenging enough for them. Only those who chose the easy mode at the same time, or newcomers just starting out, can see the difference. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Flip a picture upside down to notice a variety of new details that you've never seen before.
Can you still see them when you turn the picture right-side up? Every so often, flip the script and let your curiosity guide you into a different reality. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. When someone markets their success story as a simple matter of fact, it's often an illusion.
It's usually an elaborate scheme aligned with algorithms and popular trends, an illusion that rarely holds up in reality. Professionals don't sell illusions. They are honest about the challenges, which often outweigh the benefits. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Learning energizes me. It's no surprise that it turned out to be my top personality trait.
But the hardest lesson for me to grasp is unlearning my own limits—a lesson universally needed. Unlearning involves asking many 'what if' questions and doing what frightens me most. Yet, not trying is far scarier than the possibility of failure. What about you? What are your secrets to unlearning? Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. One year ago, I wanted to be where I am today professionally. I was focused and believed it was possible.
Until I lost faith. Doubts crept in as the process advanced. Every step felt shaky and uncertain. The key was to show up and take action, even when my belief wavered. Especially then. Stay inspired. On the other hand, allowing breath to prep work allows time for thoughtful consideration. You'll never consider absolutely everything, and you have to accept that fact. But, approaching the process calmly gives you the space for deeper thought and more considered responses. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. The good thing about defining yourself, rather than letting anyone else do it, is that you can keep your definition current.
Circumstances change, and so do we. Sometimes we change because we've outgrown our previous state. Don't fear redefining yourself, fear not doing it often enough. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. I told myself a story that I couldn't. Then I told myself I potentially could under certain circumstances.
Then I told myself, "What if I try?" Afterward, I decided to learn and really try. It was at that moment that I entertained the thought that I could when I invited change into my life. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. Reality gives us a choice - do we want to stick with the story that our dreams are impossible or make them real?
Each step we take firms up the lines around our perception and can either ground the dream into the real world or push it further away. It is impossible only because we make it so. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. The power to ask good questions comes from honest interest. You would not ask a question of any significance to a person you want to have nothing in common with. You also wouldn't search for the right answers on a topic you don't want to bother with.
Most of the time you would have made up your mind in advance. So you can either flip the script by evaluating your interest in the topic or person or just leave the questions to those who care. And learn from them, when you decide you care to know more. Stay inspired. Keep inspiring. |
